WhatsApp's rules and costs, before we start
Proper automated sending goes through Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform, which has rules you should know from the start. Before we begin, we estimate the cost with you based on how many messages you send and what kind, so the bill doesn't surprise you:
- Messages you start must use templates approved by Meta in advance
- Meta charges for most messages you start with a template, by category (marketing, utility or authentication); Meta sets the rates and they change from time to time
- When a customer messages you first, you can reply freely for a limited window without templates
- Unofficial methods can get your number banned, so we don't recommend them for a business that depends on WhatsApp
Connecting your systems

How much do automated WhatsApp messages cost?
There are two parts: the integration work, for which you get a clear quote before we start, and the messages themselves, priced by Meta per message category. We estimate the cost from your message volume before you decide.
Can I keep my current WhatsApp number?
Possibly; it depends on the number's current setup and how you want to use it. We review it with you first and recommend either the same number or a dedicated number for automated messages.
Why not use a cheaper method without Meta's approval?
Unofficial methods break WhatsApp's rules, and your number can be banned at any time. If your business depends on WhatsApp, the official route is safer in the long run.
Are WhatsApp verification codes better than SMS?
Most people here use WhatsApp every day, so the message is usually seen quickly. We can also fall back to SMS if the WhatsApp message isn't delivered.
Can you connect existing systems like Odoo?
